Croydon Active Voices Mission
We are an independent group of Croydon-based parents/ carers of children and young people (0-25) with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Our main aims are:

-
To bring together parent and carers from across Croydon, in a supportive arena, giving parents and carers a platform to share their voices. By empowering parent/carers to advocate for their children and young people through this forum and to build a network of communication between all parent and carers.
-
To be a relevant resource for all parent/carers and to support them whilst navigating systems and processes.
-
To collaborate with all stakeholders in the borough to ensure needs for all children and young people are being heard and addressed, by influencing, shaping policy and practice- by working alongside partners from the local area. Thus, ensuring that we also keep authentic independent voices in our partnership working.
-
Work on a strategic vision for best possible outcomes for children and young people based on what our members tell us
-
To work alongside partners by being solution focused and ensuring accountability through frank and open discussion.
